Highly enjoyable outing. Captain Troy skillfully engaged with my three grandchildren. Despite the high tide scattering the fish, he guided us to numerous spots for trout, flounder, and reds. I would gladly book another excursion with Captain Troy.

Yesterday, we spent nearly 10 hours with Captain Troy aboard his fishing boat, a family of nine. Despite less-than-ideal weather, Captain Troy went above and beyond to ensure everyone in our group had a memorable fishing experience. For many of us, this was our first deep-sea excursion, and Captain Troy made it truly worthwhile. We even had the bonus of encountering a giant sea turtle, playful dolphins, and curious barracudas. If you're seeking a family-friendly fishing adventure in the St. Augustine area, it's hard to find a captain with better equipment and a more pleasant personality than Captain Troy.

Captain Troy has been one of the most enjoyable guides I've had the pleasure of spending hours on the water with. He was punctual at the ramp, took us to catch bait where we got live cigar minnows and a few pin fish. Though the fish were a bit challenging to catch, Captain Troy, no stranger to uncharted waters, took us to spots unfamiliar to many anglers—no other boats in sight. We ventured a good distance offshore targeting sizable and quality eating fish, exactly what we wanted. Despite Red snapper being out of season, we caught plenty, and I'd recommend booking a trip with Captain Troy for a chance at the big ones. The seas were favorable, and Captain Troy's navigation skills added to the overall comfort. His top-notch, well-maintained gear ensured no lost hookups. The boat was clean with ample ice for our catch. The 55-inch Mahi we landed was the highlight of our day, and with a guide like Captain Troy, we're planning future trips to ensure another great day on the water!
